Kelly Lee Carlson (born February 17, 1976) is an American actress and model. She is best known for her role as Kimber Henry on Nip/Tuck. In 2001 she was listed onTear Sheet Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful list.

Career

Carlson is originally from Bloomington, Minnesota, and attended the Academy of Holy Angels in Richfield, Minnesota. In addition to acting, she has also modeled, including ad campaigns with Miller Lite, Rembrandt, and Oliver Peoples sunglasses. She appeared in the August 2004 issue of Maxim magazine and on the cover of the October issue of Stuff Magazine.

She is a spokesperson for the Smile Network, a Minnesota-based humanitarian organization that provides reconstructive surgeries and related health care services to impoverished children and young adults in developing countries. An enthusiastic Equestrian rider since the age of 7, Carlson lobbied for a bill to prevent both inhumane transport of American horses to slaughterhouses in Mexico and Canada as well as roundups of wild horses by government authorities in January 2010.

Carlson started out in theater, performing in productions of Vanities, Cheaters, Girls Guide to Chaos, Charlotte’s Web and Can’t Trust the Mate. She also appeared as an extra in the film 3000 Miles to Graceland. In 2003, Carlson booked a guest role in the pilot of the FX series Nip/Tuck. Her character, Kimber Henry, quickly became popular with audiences, and she appeared in several episodes of the first and second seasons, eventually becoming a regular in the show’s third season, remaining with the series until it wrapped in March 2010.

Outside of Nip/Tuck, Carlson has appeared in several feature films, including Paparazzi, The Marine, the direct-to-video sequel Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation and a supporting role in the mainstream comedy Made of Honor alongside Patrick Dempsey. She has also made guest spots on Everwood, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami and Monk.

She was initially cast in the 2007 horror movie Dead of Winter (later retitled Killer Movie) alongside stars like Leighton Meester and Kaley Cuoco, but was replaced by former Pussycat Doll turned actress Cyia Batten before filming began, due to creative differences with the director. After completing work on the final episodes of Nip/Tuck in 2009, Carlson segued into a recurring role on the CW update of Melrose Place, playing a Hollywood madam. She also had a short appearance in the television movie Degrassi Goes Hollywood. She can next be seen in Ghostfacers, an online spin-off the of the CW series Supernatural.

Gemma Louise Ward (born 3 November 1987) is an Australian fashion model turned actress.

Early life

Gemma Ward was born on 3 November 1987 in Perth, Western Australia, the second of four children of Gary Ward, a doctor, and Claire, a nurse. She has an older sister, Sophie (who also became a model), and younger twin brothers, Oscar and Henry. She was educated at the Presbyterian Ladies’ College and Shenton College. Gemma was the family clown whose ambition was acting. Her passion for acting was born in 1997, when she was cast as the witch in a school play of Hansel and Gretel when she was ten.

Ward’s brush with modeling was an accidental one. She was discovered in 2002, at the age of fourteen, while accompanying her friends to the Australian modelling competition Search for a Supermodel. As she said herself in a Teen Vogue interview, she ended up being scouted herself:

I had come straight from my auntie and uncle’s farm, and I was wearing this big gray barn jacket with mud all over it. When the scout came up to me, I said, ‘No, thank you.’ They forged my mum’s signature [for mandatory parental consent], and pushed me in front of the cameras.

Ward didn’t win the competition, but her fragile, unique look, got the attention of a spotter from Vivien’s Model Agency who saw her potential and made a show reel. The show reel then landed on the desk of ace model scout David Cunningham from the New York agency IMG. “Look how confident she is. I mean, she looks like she’s been doing this for years, and she’s a 15-year-old kid walking in an alleyway in Perth [...] She’s a supermodel, for sure,” Cunningham said.

Personal life

In early 2008, Ward was reported to have been seeing actor Heath Ledger after media articles linked the two together at end of 2007 holiday celebrations.

Ward and Heath Ledger first met in November 2007 in New York when Ward had just turned 20. Both were struggling with things and they bonded over that. In The Sunday Telegraph 2011 interview, Ward confirmed that they had “developed a relationship and we started seeing each other.” The two then spent Christmas together in their home town of Perth before returning to New York where Ledger died less than a month later, on 22 January 2008.

Kristen Anne Bell (born July 18, 1980) is an American actress. In 2001, she made her Broadway debut as Becky Thatcher in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. After moving to Los Angeles, Bell landed various television guest appearances and small film parts before appearing in a lead role in the David Mamet film Spartan. At age 11, Bell became a vegetarian. In an interview with PETA, Bell stated, “I have always been an animal lover. I had a hard time disassociating the animals I cuddled with — dogs and cats, for example — from the animals on my plate, and I never really cared for the taste of meat. I always loved my Brussels sprouts!” During her time in Michigan, Bell fostered animals from Michigan Humane Society and she now supports the San Diego-based Helen Woodward Animal Center. Audrey Justine Tautou (born 9 August 1976 or 1978) is a French film actress, best known for playing the title character in the award-winning 2001 film Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amélie Poulain, Sophie Neveu in the 2006 thriller The Da Vinci Code, Irène in Priceless (2006) and Coco Chanel in Coco avant Chanel. Early life

Tautou was born in Beaumont, in the Puy-de-Dôme département of Auvergne, and was raised in Montluçon in nearby Allier. Her father is an oral surgeon and her mother is a teacher. Tautou showed an interest in acting at an early age and started her acting lessons at the Cours Florent.

Personal life

She has studied at the Institut Catholique de Paris. She was brought up attending church, though she has now stated that she is “not officially” a Catholic.

Tautou says she still considers France her base, and plans to pursue a career predominantly there rather than crossing over to the United States. As she told Stevie Wong of The Straits Times:

Hilary Erhard Duff (born September 28, 1987) is an American actress, singer-songwriter, entrepreneur, and author. After working in local theater plays and television commercials in her childhood, she achieved fame playing the title role in the Disney Channel television series Lizzie McGuire. Agatha Christie - And then there were none

And Then There Were None is a detective fiction novel by Agatha Christie, first published in the United Kingdom by the Collins Crime Club on 6 November 1939 under the title Ten Little Niggers which was changed by Dodd, Mead and Company in January 1940 to Ten Little Indians, as the former title, which originally derived from antiquated English terminology, from whence the nursery rhyme dates, was seen as racist by 20th century U.S. standards. In the novel, ten people, who have previously been complicit in the deaths of others but have escaped notice or punishment, are tricked into coming onto an island. Although the guests are the only people on the island, each is murdered one by one, in a manner paralleling, inexorably and sometimes grotesquely, the old nursery rhyme, ”Ten Little Niggers”. The UK edition retailed at sevenshillings and sixpence and the U.S. edition at $2.00. It was republished in May 2001, by St Martin’s Paperback Editions as And Then There Were None, due to controversy over the former title, which originally derived from antiquated English terminology, from whence the nursery rhyme dates, but was seen as racist by 20th century standards. The novel was made into several films (Ten Little Indians).

It is Christie’s best-selling novel with 100 million sales to date, making it the world’s best-selling mystery ever, and one of the best-selling books of all time (Publications International lists it as 7th best-selling). It has been adapted into several plays, films, and a video game.

Daria Werbowy (Ukrainian: Дарія Вербова, Dariya Verbova; born November 19, 1983) is a Ukrainian Canadian model. She is perhaps best known as a spokesperson for the French beauty brand Lancôme.

Personal life

Although born in Kraków, Poland, Werbowy holds both Canadian and Ukrainian citizenship. When she was three years old, Werbowy’s Ukrainian parents moved to Mississauga, a suburb of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She has a brother named Orest and sister Oksana. At age fourteen, Werbowy was 5′11″, willowy and sportingbraces. She attended St. Sofia Ukrainian Catholic Elementary School and Cawthra Park Secondary School as a visual arts student.

Werbowy has been romantically linked to Josh Hartnett.

Daria is an avid sailor and spent three months in 2008 sailing across the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. She recently began a two-month-long expedition from Guatemala, travelling round Central America to Costa Rica in 2011.

Professional career

Werbowy had never seriously considered modeling, but found herself launched into the business after meeting a schoolmate’s mother who headed Toronto’s Susan J. Model & Talent Management. At age 14, Werbowy won a national modelling contest, but after a year of working with Susan J. Model & Talent, however, Werbowy thought she could be doing more with another agency and left.

After switching over to Elite Models, Werbowy began landing several prominent bookings in Canada but still had not achieved much international success. Daria lived in London and Greece, where ‘there were loads of castings, but no work.’ Her first runway season was disrupted and her bookings canceled after the 9/11 attacks in New York City. After a disappointing eight months Werbowy returned to Canada. She gave modeling a final shot as a means to fund her art school education.

‘I returned to New York, met my agent and the next day I had an exclusive deal with Prada. From then on it was all a bit of a blur.’

When Elite Canada’s head scout, Elmer Olsen, started his own agency, Werbowy followed and her career began to flourish. Within a few years, and under the guidance of International Management Group (IMG), Werbowy had gained a foothold on the international modelling stage. Daria has considered taking a break from the fashion industry when she is 27 to sail around the world.

Though she relinquished the world’s No.1 runway model status to new “it girls”, Werbowy holds the record for opening and closing the most shows in one season. To date, Werbowy’s clients have included Lancôme, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Pepe Jeans, Roberto Cavalli, Gucci, Hermès, Valentino, David Yurman, Missoni, Versace,Louis Vuitton, Oroton and Chanel. In her first season, Fall/Winter 2003, Werbowy captured two of the modeling world’s most coveted assignments: the cover of Vogue Italia, thrice (in July, August and October); and Prada’s Fall/Winter ad campaign.

Photographed by Steven Meisel, she was presented on the September 2004 cover of American Vogue as one of the “Models of the Moment”. In July 2007, Forbes listed Werbowy as the ninth highest-earning model in the world after Karolina Kurkova, Natalia Vodianova, Carolyn Murphy, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Heidi Klum, Kate Moss and Gisele Bündchen. Her earnings between June 2006 and June 2007 were in the order of $3.5 million.

In 2008 Daria embarked on a three-month journey across the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. On September 6, 2008, Daria was inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame. She is the second Canadian model, after Linda Evangelista, to have a star on the Canadian Walk of Fame. Earlier that year, Werbowy launched a three-piece makeup collection by Lancôme for Sephora. The proceeds went to the Vik Muniz charity Centrao Especial for underprivileged youth in Brazil. Werbowy was one of the faces on one of the fourteen covers of V magazine September 2008 issue. Each cover boasts a head shot of a famous model, either from the new crop of leading models (Agyness Deyn, Lara Stone, Natasha Poly, Anja Rubik, etc.) or the supermodel era (Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova). The covers were photographed by duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

Vogue Paris declared her one of the top 30 models of the 2000s.

Werbowy has had conflicted feelings about her professional life. In the September 2008 issue of Fashion Magazine she was quoted as saying:

“I’ve had a lot of mixed feelings about what I do … A lot of the time, I feel like I’m part of the problem when it comes to all the superficiality and vanity that impacts the way girls grow up”.

Werbowy was photographed alongside Lara Stone and Isabeli Fontana in the 2009 edition of the Pirelli Calendar photographed by Peter Beard and was also featured in the 2011 edition photographed by Karl Lagerfeld.
