Malik, 28, was at the centre of marriage controversy five years ago when he was reportedly broke an engagement with Ayesha Siddiqui, who was from Mirza’s hometown in India.

The two had reportedly developed friendship on the internet and Siddiqui’s father had even threatened to take Malik to court.

Malik has denied any serious relationship with Siddique.

The 23-year-old Mirza ended a previous engagement to childhood friend Sohrab Mirza in January, citing incompatibility.

She issued a statement Tuesday confirming the marriage plan, but asking for privacy.

“My wedding Inshallah is going to be the biggest day of my life,” she said. “I have been in the media glare for too long and would appreciate a little privacy at this very personal moment in my life.”

On one hand Shoaib Malik denied from any relation with Ayesha and on other hand Sania broke her engagement with her childhood friend Sohrab.

I hope they don’t end this relation soon too? Do they take relation as a sport too? *tu nahi aur sahi, aur nahi koi aur sahi?*

According to Sania’s family, Sania and Shoaib will live in Dubai after marriage, while Geo News has reported that Shoaib Malik and his family has applied for Indian Visa while Sania Mirza and her family has applied for Pakistani Visa.

Activists of a regional political party in Coimbatore on Wednesday held a protest against the much-speculated marriage of Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza with Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik.

The marriage was announced on Tuesday and will take place in April.

The protestors condemned Mirza’s decision to marry a Pakistani cricketer and raised slogans against her, the Central Government and the Andhra Pradesh Government.

They demanded the tennis player be deported from the country. They also demanded the federal government to take back all the awards given to her.

“There have been reports that Sania Mirza will marry Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, which the Hindu Makkal Katchi, regional Hindu political outfit strongly condemns,” said Senthil Kumar, an activist of Hindu Makkal Katchi.

“Because we feel that the cricket player basically belongs to a country, which aids and abets terrorism against India. It is still to handover the Mumbai attack accused to India. Moreover, this is an insult to 100 crore Indian people and Muslims living in India,” he added.

“We also demand that the highest awards such as Padma Shri should be taken back from her immediately and we want to deport her from India.”

After her marriage scandal with Atiq ur Rehman, she is again in news! I guess she loves to be in news.

Recently Meera was held by immigration at Karachi airport for at least two hours, know why? For keeping two passports.

According to Meera, she lost her first issued passport but got it back by her employee… AND she forget to tell concerned authorities!!

According to the law, she might face three years imprisonment with penalty.

The staff of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) immigration cell seized both the passports at the Karachi airport.

The immigration personnel intercepted her at the airport on arrival to Karachi from US via Dubai in a flight EK-606 and released her after questioning. They have confiscated both her passports and sent them to the issuing authority in Islamabad for proper investigation and verification where it would be decided as to what should be done with her for committing fraud with the passport cell.

According to the law, her punishment depends on the investigation or the case that would be registered against her.

She was issued the first passport in 2006 and upon a complaint about missing of the passport she was issued another passport in 2008. As per rules, no one can use more than one passport but despite this, she had two passports.

FIA Immigration Assistant Director Dr Mushtaq Sheikh told Daily Times that Meera went to the US on her second passport and returned on the previous one. “The passport record showed that she was using two passports and we on the directives of Immigration Cell DG, according to the 6/1/C of the Passport Act, seized both of her passports and later released her after questioning for two hours,” Sheikh informed. “We were only ordered to seize her passports and it depends on the investigation, which will determine her punishment.”

According to news agency, Meera will soon be facing tax problem too… Her house is already sealed!

Now an update on those details:

Meera, her husband I mean alleged husband, their marriage is in news these days, who doesn’t know? who don’t even watch Lollywood movies but do get interested when such scandal/news rises

After claiming to be Meera’s husband, Meera’s alleged husband Atiqque ur Rehman has now accused Meera of being pregnant and having abortion before going to India for shooting in the film “Murder at Farmhouse.”

Meera’s expects support from CM and Governor Punjab (as she says ‘am daughter of Punjab’) and says she is hopeful of being supported by government and public. Meera is also said to have lodged a complaint against Attique ur Rehman accusing him of sending life threats to her.

Meera also accused Indian film producer Faisal Saif, accusing him of masterminding a ‘conspiracy’ against her in collaboration with Rehman.

However, Faisal Saif has disproved all the allegations saying that ‘I don’t know any body named Attiqur Rehman, and I wonder why Meera has accused me of having masterminded a conspiracy against her through Attiq,’

He said he would first talk to Meera and if she kept on levelling charges against him, he would move court.

Before that Meera leave for India and went to Mahesh Bhatt’s residence for help, but after listening and knowing all the things, he refused to help.

We heard Meera even called Press Conference but didn’t show up…

Hmmm, very interesting… very very interesting…, right?

A very big question mark is still there with a scandal, who haven’t heard about it? Meera Jee getting threats? getting married? whom to trust? whom to deny?

There has been a claim made by a Faisalabad based trader Atiq ur Rehman that he had married film star Meera a couple of years ago and now Meera is not willing accept the fact and refused to be in nikkah with anyone.

Atiq ur Rehman had shown marriage document and photos as a proof in front of media. Whereas Meera has disproves all those evidences and still insists to be unmarried.

Omran Shafique

Omran Shafique, the man behind Mauj was born in Bahrain, at 18 Omran moved to Texas, America. He was interested in Pakistan’s music scene, passionate about music, and guitar as his favorite instrument Omran moved back to Pakistan to pursue music as a career.

Around 2001, he formed a band in Houston named Mauj (means ‘Wave’) being himself as the vocalist and guitarist, Mohsin Atif being the bass player and a co-lyricist. Once Omran moved to Pakistan, Mohsin Atif couldn’t join him and Omran start jamming with his old friends in Pakistan.

The line up had now changed again but nothing could stop Omran from pursuing his passion of music, now in Mauj there is Omran the vocalist and guitarist, Sameer Ahmed who plays bass, Hamza Jafri who plays guitar and Sikandar Mufti who plays the drums. Now Mauj is ready to strike a blow to Pakistan’s music scene.

In 2004, Mauj came up with their first single ‘Khushfehmi’ directed by Babar Sheikh. ‘Khushfehmi’ is a funky jazz style song which became soon a hit in the music charts and showed people what Mauj can do. Another single ‘Paheliyan’ was also released in 2004 which became a hit too.

On 24th April 2009, Mauj released their debut album ‘Now in Technicolor’. This includes their previous hit numbers along with new tracks that amazed listeners from the funky guitars, meaningful deep and sometimes comical lyrics and awesome music. Their originality has given them a unique status internationally and locally.

Along with Mauj, Omran had started a Hip Hop/R&B project called Kostal back in Texas. It began with a DJ/Producer named Taha Malik who helped Omran in recording of his album for Mauj. Kostal released a track named ‘Jaan Jaye’, an album is soon expected from Kostal.

Omran also played in a band called Co-VEN that had the same band members of Mauj, though Omran didn’t get the front seat, Hamza Jafri was given the front seat. Omran has also played for Ali Azmat for his album Klashinfolk.

Omran has done working for a popular music project named Coke Studio, a Pakistani television serious featuring live musical performances. With his help Coke Studio has broadcasted on Pakistani television and radio, fans have increased on official Coke Studio pages.

So far Omran has proved how far one can go in passion, he is an inspiration for youngsters, at very young age he knew he can achieve a lot, he did and yet looking forward to achieve more.
