Business and New Year resolution

Business and New Year resolution

It is New Year and time to make New Year resolutions. Some people will eat more or less, exercise, be polite and live in the moment. Some people will bury their old hatchets and reunite.

Business resolutions

Sure, there are business New Year resolutions too. This is the right time for business resolutions. But like every year, they are made on a piece of paper and left alone. They are deemed practically useless. The bad habits continue as usual.

But on the other hand, successful people make New Year resolutions and implement them year after year. The successful people get it done and unsuccessful ones don’t.

These are the New Year resolutions successful people make. Here is a list of eight most popular New Year resolutions.

1: Ignore the not to do list

The strategy is sacrifice. Do figure out what is really important and what matters most. Do avoid what matters the least. Your time is treasure and it should be invested somewhere. Create a to-do list that is not important at all. It will allow you to invest time in more concrete and useful chores waiting to be done.

2: Email second, wake up first

The first thing people usually do is to check their email. Every day is new and has new possibilities. So make sure that morning breakfast and exercise is given priority. Emails can be seen during the rest of the day.

Insignificant emails distract us and can prevent other chores.

3: Who, not what

Many companies tend to forget about who were they focusing and focus on their products more. That is sometimes wrong and the successful companies ensure that they keep the customer in mind always. Successful companies listen to suppliers, agents, professionals and experts in the field and then set to work.

4: Find your purpose

People don’t buy your skill, if you don’t own it. Initiating a career, company and startup is a journey that finds your purpose in life. It’s the path to success and happiness.

Find a purpose to your job or business. After that, there is no looking back.

5: Support a cause

Support a cause and your year will be happier. People have started causes that make world a better place. There are NGO’s and nonprofit organizations. Donate them some cash each month and it will make your year happier.

6: Create room for choices

People are often unhappy with their lives and sometimes are trapped in a given situation. So the next time do some brainstorming, before getting depressed. The more ideas you have, the less unhappy you become.

7: Yin for yang

Walt Disney had Roy Disney. Steve Jobs has Steve Wozniak and finally Orville Wright had Wilbur Wright. This goes without saying that, there is a dreamer and an operator.

Without a partner who isn’t passionate, your ideas will remain unfulfilled.

8: Time for vacations

Plan your vacations for the next year. Life is what happens, when you are inattentive. That without saying that the days will fit in nicely and adjust in the calendar according to the vacation schedule.
