The Nokia Lumia 920 Smartphone is finally in the market after so many leaks and teasers. Microsoft and Nokia have jointly collaborated on the Nokia Lumia 920 Smartphone. It was unveiled along with Nokia Lumia 920 Smartphone and Nokia Lumia 820 at New York City and Finland.
Nokia may be on the edge of the border with its Asha cellular phones and Lumia smartphone range. It really needs to produce a game changer in the market to sustain itself. It needs to make all the right moves.
Nokia has termed its Smartphones, Lumia, which are allegedly the most innovative smartphones
The Nokia Lumia 920 Smartphone brings some new tweaks and advancements to its Nokia Lumia 920 Smartphone.
The design and screen of Nokia Lumia 920 Smartphone
As it was predicted, the screen of the Nokia Lumia 920 is same as that of Nokia Lumia 900. The smartphone is available in sunshine yellow and soon enough, it will be released in Lipstick Red and slate grey.
The body is made up of polycarbonate as before, but the screen has certainly changed. The screen of the Nokia Lumia 920 is 4.5 inch long and it is coupled with Nokia Pure Motion HD Plus display. It has a WXGA resolution consisting of 1280*768 pixels. This resolution is a bit higher that of standard HD 1280*720 pixels. The refresh rate is also cool and it removes the flickers. Nokia claims that the Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone is brighter than all of the rival handsets.
Another exciting feature in the screen is that of Clear Black display filter. It employs polarization for lessening the glare. Nokia goes on to say that one can read screen in a desert and sunny beach. That remains to be confirmed.
The camera of the Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone
The Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone has an eight megapixel camera at the rear and it is deemed as the best too. The floating lens is first of its kind and autofocuses and rectifies the shakes and stirring. The camera of the Nokia Lumia 900 was not impressive. The aperture of the Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone is F/2 and makes the use of image stabilization as well as tiny springs for making the floating lens work.
What we have to see is that can Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone beat the likes of Samsung Galaxy SIII and Apple iPhone 4S camera or not?
The camera includes pinch to zoom feature, which is enabled with the Windows Phone 8 operating system. Also, CNN lens and Bing Vision are the integrated lens part of the application later this year.
The application will be taking over from the viewfinder of camera and provide a safe and fast but integrated way of adding effects. It is a great feature and you don’t need to open an application at one time. After taking the relevant photos, go to the application and the Photosynth application will give you’re a 360 degrees view of the photo.
