HTC Evo 4G LTE

The HTC Evo 4G LTE is the latest Smartphone from the house of HTC and Sprint Corporation has jumped on the HTC bandwagon now. It had made that decision with HTC One X. The HTC One X was with AT&T.

The new HTC Evo 4G LTE has a sleek design, which is coupled with a quality camera and it runs on Ice Cream Sandwich, a comparatively old operating system now.

To say that, the HTC Evo 4G LTE looks okay is an understatement. On the contrary, it is coated in black anodized aluminum with shiny plastic. To finish the looks, it has gleaming red accents and a silver trim, which makes it look simply out of the world.

It is very apparent that HTC has put a lot of time and work in the design of the new HTC Evo 4G LTE. The buttons are retro transistor styled. The HTC Evo 4G LTE Smartphone is screaming luxury and classy and may compete with iPhone 4 and Blackberry series.

Up close and personal

1: The new HTC Evo 4G LTE is nearly 5.3 inches in length and 2.7 inches wide. There is no shadow of doubt, that HTC Evo 4G LTE is sexy and elegant.

2: It has a screen which is 4.7 inch long and has a terrific 1280*720 pixels display. It is a super LCD 2 display. The front is only screen.

3: The same feature the HTC Evo 4G LTE has as that of HTC One X. The screen becomes too bright and creates strange colors. The viewing angles are broader, both vertically and horizontally. This is a weakness of the LCD technology apparent here. People prefer the AMOLED displays these days due to their higher and richer contrast and eye popping colors.

4: Let’s just say here that AMOLED HD screen of HTC One S was superior and futuristic. It portrayed more colors with richness and sharpness.

5: There is a 1.3 megapixel camera at the front of the HTC Evo 4G LTE for taking priceless photos and video calls. Just as the case with HTC One X, it has three buttons, which are capacitive in nature:

1: Back

2: Home

3: Recent applications

6: It has an oval power button and the usual 3.5 mm headphone jack at the top. On the right side, there is a volume bar which was uncomfortable to press and find, because it camouflages with the black body.

7: The HTC Evo 4G LTE has a camera button made in silver and has a ring pattern made on it. The button does not wake the HTC Evo 4G LTE from its sleep mode and standby by mode.

8: There is an 8 megapixel camera of the HTC Evo 4G LTE along with a LED flash. It is present on the top portion and is made from high quality plastic. The backside has a Micro SD card slot.

9: The lower half of the HTC Evo 4G LTE has fingerprints repellant anodized aluminum. The two regions are divided by a visible red stripe, which hides the spring enabled kickstand.

10: This feature is terrific and all of the smartphones should have this feature.

The kickstand feature will work, whether the HTC Evo 4G LTE is placed on the right side or left side.
