It has been a whole year since the HTC Explorer was released, but still it is a popular Smartphone. The software has been updated and let’s compares it with the hottest and latest Smartphone’s out there.

For a budget Smartphone, the HTC Explorer is a good handset as it is an entry level handset. It has a friendly interface and a touch screen, which is responsive. All that is offered in your budget.

The HTC Explorer is host to less impressive hardware specifications and software features. The HTC Explorer has components which enable it to run at impressive speeds and with little problem. But, the price is still affordable.

Technical features of HTC Explorer

1: The HTC Explorer is a pebble shaped Smartphone. The touch screen is 3.2 inch long.  It also lacks the image clarity as it has a resolution of 480*320 pixels. So, the 180 pixels per inch screen offers grainy images and quality.

2: The graphics and the pictures lack the construction, well defined edges and pinpoint sharpness.

3: The back of the HTC Explorer is made up of rubber as usual and it will remain safe, if it falls down or drops accidentally on the floor. This can increase the life of the HTC Explorer.

4: The HTC Explorer uses the Google operating system called the Gingerbread. Also, the HTC UI is used, which amplifies and multiplies the user experience.

5: The overall experience is enjoyable, attractive, simple and intuitive.

6: The processor of HTC Explorer is 600 MHz Qualcomm Cortex A5 and it also has 512 MB RAM.  These two run the HTC show. But, do remember, that HTC Explorer is not exactly the fastest Smartphone in the market.
