The iOS 6 is the new operating system for iPad, iPod and iPhone from the Apple Corporation. This new operating system will be a sheer delight for the Apple audience.
There are many features which people wanted and there were many hush-hush developments around the time of iOS 6 development.
In this article, we will examine the ins and outs of the iOS 6.
The release date of the iOS 6 is autumn or this fall. So, that means it will be unveiled in August.
The technical features of iOS 6
1: The latest application in the Apple’s rank is the e-tickets application called the passbook. With this application, you can carry the every electronic ticket from sporting events, airplane travels and even a movie theatre ticket. Hopefully, all of the major corporations will jump on the bandwagon soon enough and make life easy. The application was tested at the Hong Kong airport and your departure gate is announced and stuff like that. The Hong Kong airport was not ready for it though.
2: The phone application in the iOS 6 has also improved up a bit. This phone application offers smart reminders and you can reject a call with a message citing a reason. You can also be reminded for calling someone else. All of this is useful.
3: There is a new feature called the do not disturb feature. It’s for the time, when new messages arrive silently. The screen does not light up. Also, you can tell the iPhone to quiet the calls a favorite caller. In other words, you can also silent calls from one person repeatedly.
4: The facetime over 3G feature took so long and it was a bit irritating. If this was not put in place, the Apple audience and mobile dealers would have been upset.
5: The iOS 6 had made many useful tweaks and Apple Safari is one of them. The insta-paper is an offline reading application. The iCloud tab syncing and photo sharing integration is handy for uploading. Another brilliant feature is the Smart App which enables websites to inform you about iOS 6 applications. Everyone would have said that they would have wanted a website to tell them about its application.
6: The list of VIP’s will appear on the lock screen and in a separate mailbox. You can share photos and videos as well. All thanks to the mail.
7: So, you do not want to share all of the photos with everyone. Everyone should be allowed to see a particular photo. Well mate, you are in luck, so you do not exactly need to put them on Flickr and Facebook. The photo sharing is a bit selective and needs special consideration.
So, we all can see that, the new iOS 6 is more enhanced and terrific than before. Apple has a way with impressing its audience and amassing new ones.
So, does the new iOS 6 can stand the storm of Jelly Bean and Ice Cream Sandwich? That will be decided by the audience.
