The real question is, that does Samsung really got over its previous problems or not?
The Samsung Series 5 Chromebook is also called the XE550C22 and it is run on the Chrome operating system. They do look very sexy and mind-blowing, but they fall short of desired expectations.
The long technical features
Well, for starters, it really appeals to the general user, as it boots in a few seconds and the laptop is optimum for web surfing and internet browsing. From a single battery charge, it can remain on for the entire day. Now, that is reason enough to buy it.
The Google chrome web browser is terrific and an excellent software for internet surfing. So, an operating system was built around it and Google’s cloud services were also integrated such as Google documents.
The Samsung Series 5 Chromebook did succeed in the market while many others failed. It might take the competition to tablet.
But the results of both Samsung Series 5 Chromebook and Acer AC700 were bitter disappointment in their own respective ways.
The Chrome operating system has its own shortcomings and when the playback media comes, it stutters and does not play.
The multitasking feature as done in Windows was easy, but not in the Chrome operating system. The whole operating system takes the entire screen and makes life difficult.
The hardware which supports the Chrome operating system is not efficient either. The initial versions of Samsung chromebooks had low RAM and low graphics cards installed. The internal storage was not there and made them slow and sloppy.
So, another critical factor, the operating system and your Samsung laptop saves all of your data in the cloud, so without an internet connection, you are as good as dead.
The Samsung Series 5 Chromebook had a big undertaking as it needed to fill in the gap of the previous laptops and make them useful and relevant to the public.
So does it live up to its expectations or not?

The price of the Samsung Series 5 Chromebook was a major factor and the price for the Samsung Series 5 Chromebook is 500 dollars in USA and 380 pounds in UK. This price is for the Wi-Fi version.
The 3G version will be costing 550 dollars in America and 430 pounds in England. The laptop has a 4 GB RAM and seconds booting system.
Is it as safe as Microsoft Windows?
The Samsung Series 5 Chromebook XE550C22 is bound to get a big upgrade in comparison to other chromebooks.

The 4GB RAM looks terrific and is very welcome by the users. The tasks are run much faster with 4 GB RAM and the chrome operating system.
It has a 16 GB SSD (Solid State Drive) hard drive which makes the magnetic hard drives obsolete. It is much smaller in size and most of your data is saved up in cloud or internet.
So, the decision is yours whether to buy Samsung Series 5 Chromebook.
