Sony Xperia J Smartphone

The Sony Xperia J is yet another Smartphone from the house of Sony. Sony is a Japanese giant, dealing in electronic equipment. This Smartphone is reminiscent of the Xperia Arc S and Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc.

Now, Sony is offering a Smartphone called Xperia J, which provides an outstanding screen and aims the customers, who want style and low cost. In terms of design, Sony has got it right. The design is curvy and made of rubber at the back for firm hold. The Xperia J is held in hand firmly and the body is very strong and sturdy.

It looks eerily familiar to Sony Xperia T, which has a similar design, but with Xperia J, one can slid off the back cover.

The images and text are sharp and clear as day.

The Ice Cream Sandwich operating system runs smoothly on Sony Xperia J. It is not as fast as Xperia T. But that doesn’t mean it is sloppy either. It doesn’t lag or slow down in the event of heavy use.

Due to 512 MB RAM, the applications took one second to open up. The camera took two seconds to open up. It may cause some discomfort to the users.

Sony Xperia J has the Android keyboard and it’s dead useful for typing. The four inch display is sufficient to give the keys some slack. Emails and text messages can be sent without any discomfort.

The rear camera is a five megapixels resolution camera and there is only LED flash. But, however, there is auto focus option, a few scene modes and exposure features. They are easy to comprehend and use.

Here’s the catch; the auto focus takes some time to normalize. If you immediately use the shutter button, there will be three second delay. The focus normalizes, so snapping photos is not exactly a pleasant experience.

On the front, there is a VGA camera in Xperia J. It can be used for video calls, but its sub-standard. The rear camera is much better and provides due quality.

Sony Xperia J does not have a real camera button like Sony Xperia T. but, there is volume button and power lock button which are usable.

Sony Xperia J is a good Smartphone, but it surely is not the best, and it can be beaten easily by other tech giants out there.

This Smartphone is affordable, has a nice screen, beefy processor and camera with a good picture resolution. It is a decent Smartphone and a bit catchy as it’s available in gold, black, white and silver colors.
